Christian Isnard founded CI Sports in 2007 and gradually built up an unrivalled team of reliable journalists, translators, data analysts and editors. However, he remains a hands-on presence in the organisation, driving delivery and contributing to clients’ success in person, day in, day out.

With a passion for football and motorsports, Christian abandoned a PhD in life sciences to join the prestigious École Supérieure de Journalisme in Lille in his native France.

He was recognised for his skills in sports journalism and communications when he won a reporting prize in the Concours de la Page d’Or awards, organised by France’s top sports paper, L’Équipe.

An early adopter and evangelist for digital media. Christian ran the French newsdesk for pioneering sports website Sportal, and then worked for a number of other major organisations before launching CI Sports to develop his vision of digital-age sports content.
